Holiday timeline for custom beanies
Beanies are the most-ordered December gift at Battle Born Clothing, and December is when every decorator is full. Standard turnaround is 28 days from proof approval. Work backward from your date with the table below.
How the clock works
- You send artwork, quantity and style. Quote usually the same business day.
- You approve the quote. We send a digital proof, typically within a few business days.
- You approve the proof. The 28-day production clock starts here, not at the first email.
- We ship. Ground shipping from Yerington, Nevada is 1 to 5 business days depending on where you are.
Plan on about 5 weeks from first contact to delivery at standard turnaround: a week for quote and proof, 4 weeks of production, and shipping.

These assume ground shipping to the lower 48 and no proof revisions. Each round of proof changes adds a day or two. Expedited shipping can buy back a few days at cost.
Missed the date?
Ask. Rush is quoted per job and depends on what is already on the schedule. Leather patch beanies are often faster to slot in than embroidery because there is no digitizing step. A smaller first run that makes the date, followed by a standard-turnaround reorder, is another way through.
Ways to make the schedule easier
- Send vector artwork the first time. A clean AI, EPS, PDF or SVG file skips a cleanup round.
- Pick a stocked blank. The Sportsman SP12 is deep at SanMar's Reno warehouse; brand-name blanks (Carhartt, Nike) may need an extra week for inventory.
- Approve the proof the day it arrives. The clock starts at your approval.
- Give us a hard date on the quote form so we flag it from the start.
Beanie season in general
Resort and crew orders start in September. Corporate gift orders peak in October and early November. Reorders run through February. If your order is not holiday-driven, January and February are the quietest months and the easiest time to get a quick turnaround. Battle Born Clothing quotes the same prices year-round.

The slack is the point. Build a week into any holiday order so a proof revision or a carrier delay does not become a problem. If the date is already inside 28 days, send the request anyway with the date on it and we will tell you the honest answer the same business day.

Does the 28 days start when I email you?
No. It starts when you approve the digital proof. Quote and proof usually take about a week before that.
Can you guarantee delivery before Christmas?
At standard turnaround, approve a proof by about Nov 17 for ground shipping. After that, we quote a rush per job and tell you honestly whether it is possible.
Is shipping included in the timeline?
The table adds ground shipping time. Expedited shipping is available at cost.
